"Typical Consumer Solar PV Marketing, Is it Working?"
SolarTech and San Jose State University have just completed a consumer attitudes study that indicts the current solar PV marketing programs as ineffective. These results were presented on March 18, 2011 through a joint presentation of SolarTech, the research team and other industry experts in reviewing the report’s findings and exploring how the industry might change its approach to consumers and find a more effective messaging strategy. This report described both the findings and methodology of the research and poses some hard questions the industry should be asking in order to develop better marketing programs to drive consumer demand.
