With the US solar energy <1% of energy mix (but could be 15% by 2020) and consumer perception of Solar Energy as “Expensive, Confusing, New” we need to develop integrated national efforts to overcome local market barriers. SolarTech CEN enables local adoption and delivery of solar energy solutions anywhere in the country through a mission of enabling broader adoption of solar energy nationwide to increase US economic competitiveness, creating jobs here at home, working toward independence from foreign oil. We do this through an educational process, leveraging private/public partnerships to create standards & best practices for the local level that can be easily replicated nationally
