Membership Costs

Every organization needs fuel to run on. In the case of SolarTech, funding is expected to be generated from member dues. Along with contract fee based agreements with Cities that SolarTech is working closely with to develop new standards, establish “Best Practices” and are committed to getting our guidance in becoming a “Solar-Friendly City—SolarTech Certified”

The SolarTech organization bases membership on a balance of company size and ability to contribute to the real life needs to support the organizations initiatives with appropriate resources and staffing.

  • One time initiation fee of $500
  • Standard Membership Dues for new members (renewed annually)

76-150 $3000
151-500 $3500
501-1000 $4250
1001+  $5.00 per FTE, $40,000 ceiling

Premium membership at kiloWatt, megaWatt and gigaWatt levels will soon be defined. In exchange for 5-10x annual dues, the group’s most coveted levels will enjoy additional opportunities that may exist at various times, such as:

  • Visibility in promotional SolarTech materials and media
  • Joint marketing opportunities ranging from 1-5 years in duration
  • First right of refusal on outdoor testing and certification locations
  • Priority testing and certification schedules or guaranteed product testing resources on an annual basis
  • Priority seating, tickets or sponsorship opportunities at SolarTech events through any calendar year, commensurate with the term and level of membership
