PanelsThe SolarTech organization was founded in early 2007 with the goals to remove the barriers to adoption and implementation of solar power on a broad basis. As an initiative of the Silicon Valley Leadership Group, SolarTech is focusing on tangible solutions that are strengthening the solar industry. Yes. There are many organizations focused on government policies that impact solar adoption. SolarTech will differentiate itself by focusing on tangible barriers, standards and training programs, SolarTech is serving as the unifying and driving force in the solar power industry throughout California, and as a resource and model for the US and the world.

Membership in SolarTech provides all those vested in the solar sector with an opportunity to focus on real tangible issues facing solar today. The rapid adoption of solar is critical to solving the world’s energy crisis.
