SWIC is a market-driven, systems approach to workforce development funded by the State of California Labor & Workforce Development Agency. SWIC offers employers, training organizations and job seekers a leveraged and coordinated workforce development program.
SWIC partners NOVA, Foothill DeAnza Community Colleges and San Jose State University come together to address the needs of the solar and the energy efficiency industries. We convene employers, Workforce Investment Boards, educators, and ultimately job seekers to fill the talent gap in the emerging renewable energy sectors.
